There is a massive opportunity here in Europe to disciple the nations. There is a mission field here on our doorstep… thousands of refugees and migrants and many of them are from unreached people groups, living here in our inner cities. Come and take a fresh look at discipleship training in an “oral” context. In every continent God is multiplying, not just adding, gatherings of believers in ways that are currently described as “ Discipleship Making Movements”. Come and learn how to train disciples orally, and help to start a discipleship making movement in Europe.
In Mark 4:33-34, Jesus said “when I teach local people I ALWAYS use stories”. The God’s story DTS is discipleship training focusing on key stories in the bible narrative and communicating them orally in order to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Content
Training and introduction to “God’s Story Discipleship Training School”, that is an oral Discipleship Training School. The curriculum is chronological, oral, easily reproducible and produces disciples who can disciple others. Training involves modelling a full classroom week plus extra time for questions and processing.
The week’s schedule will include very practical hands-on experience in worship, being self- aware, being others aware, friendly accountability, bible story narratives, discussion and application practice and opportunities to reproduce what you have learned as soon you have learnt it. The school is run in a simple church format.
Key non-negotiables for a Discipleship Training School in an oral context, that have been outlined by the International Discipleship Training School Centre will be emphasised. Loren Cunningham said that this “God’s Story DTS” is not just another school it is a MOVEMENT in our mission.
The first God’s story DTS ran in September 2019 in Salatiga, Indonesia. Since that time this new University of the Nations-approved and accredited Oral DTS has multiplied to 16 locations on 4 continents. The DTS program’s defining characteristics are that it is chronological, oral, highly reproducible, and creates disciples who can disciple others

Connie teaches on evangelism in Discipleship Training Schools on evangelism and the Holy Spirit. Andrew is a member of the Gods Story DTS core team which is responsible for seeing staff trained and each school being overseen for quality.
